Happy 90th Birthday to our club member Owen Tyler for June 13th.
We wish you many happy returns for the day and you will always be a special member of the shed.
Article from Sentinel Times 16 June 2020
Due to Covid-19 Stage 3 restrictions in our region, the committee has been forced to close the shed until further notice.
We regret this unfortunate turn of events, but hopefully things will look better in the near future.
We hope all our members and the local community stay safe in these worrying times and look forward to moving back to some normality, hopefully in the near future.
Extensions are currently being undertaken to extend the shed meeting room area. This will allow us to use the social area for greater capacity, after the current restrictions are lifted. Hopefully it won't be too long till we can use the new facilities.
Radio 3mFM Interview
Matt, Graham & Brian from our shed were interview by Wendy from 3mFM for the local focus program. They discussed the focus of men's sheds, the history of our shed and what activities are undertaken. The program was aired on 18-Jan, and if you missed it you can hear it here:
Our new Leadership team
At the annual general meeting on 14th October, the positions of president, vice president and 2 committee members became vacant.
We are pleased to announce that Matt McDonald was elected president and Graeme Beakley as vice president.
The committee and members would like to thank our retiring president Julian Sellers and vice president Frank Deane for their tireless efforts in getting the shed up and running to become one of the finest sheds in Australia.
We have a lot to appreciate and extend to them our thanks
