Inverloch Jazz Festival
What a great long weekend at the Inverloch Jazz Festival. It just shows what a professional show our town can put on with the help of so many dedicated people.
The show started on Friday night, and ended Monday afternoon with one of our great Gippsland bands, "Streeton Court Big Band". What a class act they are and shows what great local talent we have.
Over the weekend we saw some very professional acts which showcase this great event. It is amazing the caliber of the musicians we have at this festival playing multiple times over the 3 venues and some playing in multiple bands.
Inverloch Men's Shed were involved with the setting up (and setting down) of the 3 venues for this event, so thanks guys for your great help. The shed was involved from traffic marshaling, parade organization and
sausage sizzle at the glade on Monday.
Well done to Trevor, who was one of the main organizers at the festival and who did not get much sleep over the 3 days, as he was always involved with the smooth running of the festival. Good job also done by Frank and the lovely Men's shed wife's who all pitched in a hand to help out.
Saturday saw the Street parade organized by the Men's Shed and what a spectacular march it was with a great community participation and local focus.
